This is my space, my little corner to let loose. Nothing excites me more than racing around the city with my phone, capturing video in search of inspiration. Early 2024 was a game-changer, my street art animation, made in collaboration with One Truth Bros, took off in a big way! I definitely need to make more of those.

One day, not long after my time with Trade Republic ended, I was walking through Berlin when I came across some stunning street art. It looked so alive that something inside me just had to see it move. That idea turned into a massive project—a true labor of love.
I dove deep into character rigging, used AI to erase walls, and spent days rotoscoping tram lines out of moving footage. My perfectionism definitely took over, but the results were beyond satisfying. One Truth Bros were thrilled, and we shared it everywhere. It’s already racked up tens of thousands of views, and now I can’t wait to find another big piece that sparks my inspiration!

It’s heartbreaking to see Pink Man by Italian artist Blu gone—all in the name of progress, or more specifically, building insulation. It’s always sad to watch something so beautiful just disappear. This is my tribute, a small nod to what once was.
This one was pretty complex. Finding a high-resolution image of the iconic street art from a similar camera angle and in similar lighting conditions was a real challenge. But with a little help from AI, I was able to bring it all together. My stance on AI? It’s a great tool to support creativity—but letting it do all the work? That’s just cheating!
Looking back on this project, I think I should have left the tree, I think I will revisit this piece sometime in the future!

I’ve always loved Nature Morte by Belgian artist ROA, so I decided to create a subtle animation of it. The original piece dates back to 2011 and was part of the @skalitzers Transit exhibition. This one was a mix of rotoscoping and a bit of animation—nothing too crazy. I’m always very respectful when working on these kinds of projects; I never alter the artist’s work, just add a touch of movement. I think this one struck just the right balance.

This was a fun and straightforward project—and a great collaboration with my ex-Trade Republic colleague and TikTok rockstar, Enxh. He started a trend on TikTok with half-and-half videos, and after returning from Paris, he handed me this clip. A bit of After Effects, a little sky replacement, and just like that—the end result? A little bit of magic!

Inspiration can strike anytime; you just have to be ready to seize it. With my trusty iPhone in hand, I captured some 4K footage of the nearly completed tower. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with it, I just knew I wanted to create something. Back home, I imported the footage, made a 3D track, added some simple 3D shapes, and re-projected the footage onto the model. Then, I put together a (supposedly simple, but not really) animation. I have to say, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. What do you think?

I never see a billboard I can't use! This one was super simple—I found some beautiful footage, tracked a poster, and recreated an iconic design. With just a bit of careful tracking and compositing, the final result felt seamless. Nothing too complex, but sometimes, simple is best! It’s always fun to experiment with these small creative exercises, finding ways to blend design with the real world in a natural and engaging way.
